about

Certainly as Ocean in a Bottle has outgrown its original intention originally, the music has been ringing in my ears sometimes as setting the mood for when I write music under it’s name has changed emphasising Eno’s style of ‘theory over practice’ or mood rather than constant chord changes.

I’ve been into Eno’s music for some years now as far back as when I did experimental music when I was a lot younger with DIH and Distance, but only by accident embraced the more trippy, ambient based field that this EP (or album if you like) embraces back in November 2014 when trying out a new setting on my keyboard which I hadn’t tried before, a dear friend said ‘that’s almost Brian Eno territory’.

That itself is open to debate, but from a different angle, this short EP which has developed over the next three months while less so more Piano based, still carries the same mood as everything I have done previously as Ocean in a Bottle, just in a different way.
