Spinning into the end, the end of Autumn of course always leads to the birth of Winter itself no two ways about it and the coldness and the sleepiness it always causes.

However, before that reaches, stepping out into Autumn for example on the River Mersey or Chorlton Water Park from which the backing sounds for these two pieces were recorded, there is a different kind of beauty to Spring and Summer where everything is in the height of life, Autumn here carries your emotions into a very different kind of sound with your footsteps becoming like drones walking around the edge of a lake or river with the water brushing into the drones to create a new texture.

Breeze across Country Meadows the new single by Ocean in a Bottle is what it says on it’s a title, a last minute journey across into silence with nothing but the countryside ambience and your broken footsteps (replaced here with drones) to carry you through it until Winter finally takes grip of your life for the next few months.
